COVID-19

Update: 10 March 2021

Whilst the UK is still under lockdown, du Boulay Projects are adhering to the regulations and guidance provided by the government. Our project teams are still on site and practicing social distancing, sanitisation and reducing chances of infection where possible.

With this in mind and to ensure our operatives and teams are kept safe, we strongly encourage all staff, operatives and visitors to our sites to adhere to the government Track & Trace and Community Testing programs.

We have prepared a du Boulay Projects COVID-19 Testing Statement which provides guidance on how to maintain regular testing and how we will prepare our sites with advice and guidance on local testing centres.

As a reminder, our office remains open and all staff are working from home. Our team are happy to provide assistance and consultancy should you wish to re-plan your restaurant, workshop or office to better suit a new approach to operating and our site teams are fully up to speed on safe working practices and social distancing so that we can deliver your space safely.

We are more than happy to assist during the current pandemic. If you need to get in touch, please call on 020 8877 0266 or email office@duboulay.co.uk

Update: 15 May 2020

We have spent the past few weeks reviewing and updating our RAMS and procedures to cover COVID-19 protection and working practices. This will ensure our operatives and sub-contract teams remain safe on site.

Therefore, with updated government advice and discussions with our teams and clients, we have taken steps to return to several of our sites to continue creating the beautiful spaces we love so much. It feels great to get back to site.

Our office remains open and working from home. Our team are happy to provide assistance and consultancy should you wish to re-plan your restaurant, workshop or office to better suit a new approach to operating.

Update: 23rd March 2020

Following the latest government guidance, we have taken the decision to temporarily close all of our sites to ensure the safety of our team and sub-contractors on site and to also minimise any spread, risk and concern.

Whilst our sites are closed, our office remains open and ready to assist where needed. Our team are able to work remotely and can still carry out all required functions on a day-to-day basis.

16th March 2020

du Boulay Projects are monitoring the current situation and government guidance on the current Coronavirus outbreak. Duty of care to our staff, suppliers, subcontractors and customers is of paramount importance and we felt it important to update you with the business readiness planning we have been carrying out since the recent outbreak.

Our Senior Management is regularly reviewing the changing situation and updates from Government agencies.

We have also put in place several contingency plans which are designed to ensure continuity of working from both our office and sites.

One of our primary plans is the confirmation of our ability to operate our office-based job roles remotely so in the event of an office closure we can continue to operate across most functions on a day to day basis.

What We Are Doing

We have also introduced an interim essential business travel policy to limit travel and business meetings which we will continue to monitor as the advice from the Government evolves. Our policy covers:

  • Seeking to minimise non-essential travel to business meetings with subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Postponing non-essential meetings at our offices and sites with subcontract, suppliers and other stakeholders (video/audio conference calls where possible)
  • putting measures in place to support visitors entering our spaces (sites and offices)

We need to work together to minimise the effects of transmission to ensure the safety of all operatives, du Boulay employees and customers. We have therefore put the following procedures in place:

  • Hand Sanitiser – additional hand sanitisers are available at all sites and office; they will be clearly visible.
  • Cleaning – we have upgraded our cleaning policy, with additional disinfection’s carried out on a regular basis
  • Monitor Site Access – we are monitoring site access to prevent possible spread of the virus
  • RAMs – our office and site RAMs have been updated to protect our onsite and office-based staff

How You Can Help

It’s very important that you encourage all your operatives that when entering a du Boulay Projects site or office they follow Government protocol and clean & sanitise their hands on a regular basis.

Updates

We will continue to communicate with you on a regular basis as Government advice gets updated, however rest assured that we are monitoring this closely and ensuring that we are as prepared as we can be.

If you’d like to discuss the current situation and how we are preparing ourselves, please get in touch with a member of the du Boulay team.
