Peggy Porschen is a world-renowned confectioner and baker who already has one establishment in Belgravia.
du Boulay Contracts were delighted to secure the fitout of the second Peggy Porschen project on the Kings Road in Chelsea. A former coffee shop had been stripped back to a shell and we helped to transform the space into a new restaurant & bakery.
Following the enabling works, we were able to create a bespoke space for the client, with a range of finishes from timber to marble, mosaic tiles laid to pattern, and timber panelling applied to the walls which all help to create a wonderfully calm space.
The space includes all custom joinery including a marble clad bar with brass overbars, a downstairs bar and private dining area / events space. We also took care of the full mechanical and electrical installation, signage, awnings and the signature pink decorations to the shopfront.
Situated on the junction with Kings road and Glebe place, deliveries and access would be a challenge but with a timed and co-ordinated delivery schedule, we were able to ensure all deliveries took place swiftly without hold up to traffic or issue to residents.
