du Boulay Contracts negotiated the fit out works at The Strand, to deliver the new Michelin-starred Ikoyi restaurant.
Starting off as a warm shell, du Boulay carried out a full survey of the premises to produce a fully dimensioned survey. This allowed our team to deliver a fully coordinated pack of setting out drawings. This project demanded some meticulous detailing, and our design development of the scheme ensured that all details worked correctly.
The project demanded a high level of fit & finish. Our scope of works included new concrete stone flooring, antique copper & curved leather paneling and a floating bench.
The ceiling design required development from concept through to delivery. The works included a bespoke mesh ceiling, with a radius sweeping curve from ceiling level to ground level in front of windows, with removable sections for maintenance.
The restaurant has since been awarded two-Michelin stars in 2023.
