Du Boulay Projects executed a comprehensive interior fit-out for Kiss the Hippo’s Fitzrovia location, transforming the two-floor space into a contemporary coffee haven. The project emphasized sustainability and modern design, incorporating bespoke furniture, custom lighting, and a state-of-the-art coffee counter to enhance the overall customer experience.

Project Delivery:
The fit-out process involved the careful selection and installation of contemporary furniture pieces encased in beechwood to seamlessly blend with the interiors. A focal point of the ground floor is the coffee counter, constructed from 6mm laser-cut stainless steel, allowing customers to engage with the art of coffee brewing.

Design Highlights:
The café’s design features large windows that flood the space with natural light, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere. The custom-built drip coffee station and the brand’s bespoke Kees Van Der Westen espresso machine are prominently displayed at the front counter, showcasing Kiss the Hippo’s dedication to coffee craftsmanship.

Challenges and Achievements:
Transforming the space to reflect Kiss the Hippo’s sleek and cool brand personality required meticulous planning and execution. The successful completion of the project resulted in a café that not only meets operational needs but also offers guests an immersive and authentic coffee experience.
