Oeno House, Royal Exchange

Address: Royal Exchange
Type: Fit out
Budget: £350k
Duration: 8 weeks

du Boulay Contracts worked together with the client of Oeno House to deliver this spectacular new fine wine boutique and alfresco wine bar in the Grade I listed Royal Exchange building, London. Having delivered previous projects within the Royal Exchange, we came highly recommended to assist and deliver this unit.

Spread over four floors, this boutique wine bar features bespoke joinery and storage solutions, a private wine room and retail areas. du Boulay Contracts delivered the project from start to finish including all enabling works, full MEP installation (alongside constultants, WB Shiels), decorations, finishes and bespoke joinery manufacture and installation.

The largest obstacle on this project was the small floor plate. Measuring in at just 27m2. The tight space meant we had to co-ordinate each trade carefully to ensure that all operatives maintained social distancing and were able to work safely within their work space.

The project delivered on time and budget allowing the store to invite the Lord Mayor of the City of London to officially open the store.
