Du Boulay Projects led the transformation of Oeno House, a premier fine wine boutique and tasting venue located in London’s iconic Royal Exchange. Over a 12-week period, the project involved converting a historic space into a refined environment that combines retail, tasting, and investment advisory services. .

The design, executed by Studio Four IV, features bespoke joinery, luxurious finishes, and specialized storage solutions, creating an inviting atmosphere for wine enthusiasts and investors alike.

The scope of work included a comprehensive strip-out and fit-out of the three-floor boutique, ensuring compliance with the project’s high-end specifications. Key features include a refrigerated champagne display and an illuminated onyx slab wine display on the ground floor, enhancing the visual appeal of the wine selection. The top floor houses a private tasting room, accommodating up to ten guests, providing a luxurious setting for intimate wine experiences and events.

Studio Four IV’s design incorporates elements that reflect the heritage of the Royal Exchange while introducing contemporary features. The ground floor showcases a double-sided, jewel-like display cabinet, refrigerated to the perfect temperature, allowing for dynamic presentations of new and interesting vintages. The alfresco terrace offers a delightful space for patrons to sample wines by the glass, while the private tasting room on the top floor provides an exclusive environment for bespoke events.

The project required meticulous coordination to preserve the historical integrity of the Royal Exchange while introducing modern amenities. Du Boulay Projects successfully navigated these challenges, delivering a space that honors the building’s legacy while providing a state-of-the-art venue for wine enthusiasts and investors. Oeno House now stands as a testament to luxury and sophistication, offering a unique destination for those seeking to explore and invest in fine wines.
