A carefully delivered Hawksmoor fit out within one of London’s most protected historic buildings.
Hawksmoor St Pancras sits within a Grade I listed building at one of London’s busiest transport hubs. The project involved the transformation of key front and back of house spaces while respecting strict heritage constraints and the character of the existing fabric.
Works covered the ground floor restaurant and new Martini Bar, a new basement kitchen and Chef’s Table room, and first floor WCs. The brief focused on delivering the unmistakable Hawksmoor look and feel, while working within tight spatial and regulatory limits set by the listed status of the building.
Our scope included a partial strip out of existing finishes and equipment, new mechanical services to support the reconfigured kitchen, and where permitted, new finishes to restaurant spaces. Close coordination with the train station & surrounding hotel operations was needed to ensure minimal disruption occurred.
Delivered in just seven weeks, the project relied on careful planning, close collaboration with the client team, and a clear understanding of listed building requirements. As a repeat client, Hawksmoor trusted our team to balance speed, quality, and sensitivity, resulting in a finished space that feels authentic to the brand and respectful of its historic setting.
