The transformation of Cicchetti Knightsbridge involved converting a former eatery into a luxurious Venetian-inspired restaurant adjacent to Harrods.

Over a 16-week period, the project encompassed a comprehensive strip-out and fit-out, featuring bespoke elements such as a monolithic Cippollino marble bar and intricate marble flooring inspired by Venetian architect Carlo Scarpa. The design incorporated rich tones, luxurious materials, and custom lighting to create an opulent dining experience.

The project involved a full interior fit-out, including the installation of bespoke marble features, custom joinery, and high-end finishes to create a luxurious dining environment. The design incorporated elements inspired by Venetian architecture, such as a monolithic Cippollino marble bar and marble flooring influenced by Carlo Scarpa. The material palette featured rich tones and luxurious materials, including bespoke lighting fixtures, to create an opulent atmosphere.

Mechanical and electrical installations included energy-efficient lighting and climate control systems, enhancing comfort and sustainability. Acoustic treatments were applied to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The project was completed within a 16-week timeframe, minimising disruption to the surrounding area.

The completed space offers a sophisticated and immersive dining experience, reflecting the rich heritage of Venetian design. The project has been recognised with awards, including the Overall Restaurant Winner at the 2023 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards.
