du Boulay Contracts are delighted to have completed the interior fit-out of Les Deux Salons, the latest restaurant belonging to Will Smith and Anthony Demetre (Wild Honey and Arbutus both Michelin starred). Reminiscent of the grand Parisian Brasseries of the “belle epoque”, this recent opening has been wowing the critics and you cannot open a quality newspaper right now without reading a fabulous review – of both the food and decor.

Martin Brudnizki Design Studio were engaged to create the design of this authentically French brasserie which seats 150 over two floors. It was a challenging project with many fine bespoke finishes and was completed in 16 weeks. The dark wood panelling with antiqued mirrors which look as if they have been there for a hundred years; the superb handmade marble mosaic floor; sumptuous dark green leather banquette seating; the stunning stained glass ceiling with glass and brass chandeliers. Upstairs the second salon has an intimate feel with deep, curved plush dark red velvet banquette seating.

Will Smith, restaurateur said “du Boulay had come highly recommended and they did not disappoint. Les Deux Salons is the largest of our restaurants to date and this was a complicated project. I was impressed by their attention to detail and professionalism.”

MBDS Design Director Neil Masters said “It was great to be working with du Boulay again on this exciting high profile project. They brought to life our design under pressure to a tight deadline.”
