We are delighted to announce that one of our projects, Jamie’s Italian Westfield, has just won the award of Best Hospitality Environment at the prestigious Design Week Awards held recently at the Hilton Park Lane.

Congratulations to Blacksheep who have just won the Design Week Award for their design of Jamie’s Italian Westfield. The event was held last Tuesday at the Hilton on Park Lane and there were over 500 people in attendance representing the very best in design. Jo Sampson, Creative Director of Blacksheep, collected the award. The judges’ comments were “It’s on brand, experiential and immersive”.

Tim Mutton, MD of Blacksheep, commented on the design concept:

We were very impressed with how open the client was to new ideas that expressed the fresh, honest and accessible feel of the brand. Every material choice and the story behind it was carefully considered as part of the design process and, in order to bring a truly authentic Italian feel to the designs, Blacksheep extensively researched not only the business, but also Italian restaurant and delicatessen culture

du Boulay Contracts are delighted to have been involved in this very exciting project.

This was a very good working relationship. du Boulay really understood Blacksheep’s concept instantly. They put the right people in place and always had a good attitude. As this was our first job for the brand, they were especially helpful and really understood client needs in terms of budgets.
