Du Boulay Projects successfully completed the refurbishment of more than 100 guest rooms at The Marylebone Hotel, London.

The project was executed in phases to ensure the hotel remained fully operational throughout. The scope included adjustments to electrical outlets, new joinery installations, new carpeting, full decorations, and, in some cases, complete structural overhauls to create luxury suites with marble-clad bathrooms.

Project Delivery:
The refurbishment encompassed various levels of intervention, from minor updates like socket adjustments and new carpeting to extensive renovations involving structural modifications and luxury suite creation. Du Boulay Projects managed all aspects, including builders’ works, decorations, bespoke joinery (wardrobes, minibars, and vanity units), plumbing and electrical installations, sanitaryware, carpeting, and marble tiling.

Design Highlights:
The newly refurbished Deluxe rooms feature elegant décor with bronze patina accents and playful mirror patterns. Furnishings are carefully chosen to provide ample space for relaxation or work. Bathrooms are adorned with Italian marble, offering both bath and shower facilities along with luxury toiletries.

Challenges and Achievements:
Refurbishing over 100 rooms while keeping the hotel operational required meticulous planning and coordination. Du Boulay Projects ensured minimal disruption to guests by restricting work to back-of-house areas and scheduling deliveries during off-peak hours. The successful completion of this project has significantly enhanced the guest experience at The Marylebone Hotel.
